Requirements

The Web Developer extension is designed for Firefox, Flock and Seamonkey, and will run on any platform that these browsers support including Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. The extension supports the following versions of these browsers:

Install

If you are having problems installing the extension then please try the following:

• If you are upgrading the extension then please uninstall the extension before upgrading. If you are using Firefox or Flock and the browser is unusable after upgrading then try starting the browser in safe mode and uninstalling the extension.
• Try restarting your browser and installing the extension again.
• Try saving the extension to your machine (by right-clicking or ctrl-clicking the download link and choosing 'Save Link As...') and dragging the saved extension into your browser window to start the install.
• Try installing the extension in a new profile.

Usage

After installing the extension there is a 'Web Developer' menu under the 'Tools' and context menu of the browser, as well as a new toolbar.

Uninstall

If you are using Firefox or Flock then please use the built-in uninstall functionality. Otherwise please read the uninstalling extensions page on the MozillaZine Knowledge Base.
