I have just released version 0.9.3 of the Web Developer extension. There are a number of fixes - listed in the changelog - as well as the addition of the same support for update notifications that was added to the last release of the User Agent Switcher extension.
I now plan on working on the 1.0 release and I will be updating the to-do list as I make progress.

Excellent news Chris, your extension just goes from strength to strength. I can't recommend it enough.
Thanks Chris, for making life easier for all of us. Looking forward to the 1.0 release.
I loved version 0.8 of this extension. However, since installing 0.9.3, validation has completely disappeared from the toolbar (running Firefox 1.0 under Mac OSX 10.3.7). Needless to say it was the feature I used most... :/
Please see this forum topic.
Thanks Chris, I missed that. All good now!
Wonderful tool for a beginner like me. It is like a code x-ray. I get to see all the behind the scenes stuff. Thannk you for you r hard work.
DAMN what an exetension, best firefox extension EVER and handy as fook, great coding mate :):)
I just found out about this great tool.
Thanks for your work.
Hi. Is there a way to make this extension compatible with the latest nightly builds (Deer Park)? I've tried bumbing the maxversion # in install.rdf but it still gives me an error message.
This extension is a must-have!
Thanks.
Please read the FAQ - I'm sorry, but I do not support nightly builds.
NP, The next stable should be out in a month, I'll bug you then!
Thanks for the quick response.
Setting maxversion to 1.0+ does the trick.
